Fujitsu Luncurkan Server Primergy Terbaru

Fujitsu mengumumkan peluncuran dua tipe server mono-socket multiguna generasi baru dengan arsitektur terkini yang memanfaatkan keunggulan teknologi Intel Xeon 3400 dan prosesor inti ganda 32nm.

Kedua server itu adalah tipe tower Primergy  TX150 S7 dan tipe rak Primergy  RX100 S6 yang termasuk dalam keluarga server mono-socket. Server tower dan rak baru itu  menjadi  pelengkap lini server dual-socket Fujitsu yang telah diluncurkan pada akhir 2009 lalu.

Kedua server tersebut berbasiskan standar industri sehingga mudah dikembangkan sekaligus sebagai solusi server multiguna. Karakteristik tersebut cocok bagi pelanggan yang membutuhkan solusi berbiaya efektif untuk optimalisasi infrastruktur TI dan memperbaiki efisiensi operasional.

Kedua lini terbaru ini menerapkan sistem modular tingkat tinggi sehingga mampu memberikan kombinasi kinerja yang unggul, ideal digunakan sebagai server multiguna bagi bisnis skala kecil dan menengah, dan untuk menjalankan infrastruktur non mission-critical.

“Server Primergy  generasi baru kami yang fleksibel ini menawarkan teknologi server canggih dengan harga terjangkau, memberikan kinerja, ketangguhan dan kehandalam papan atas bagi pelanggan yang memperhitungkan harga,” kata Motohiko Uno, Regional Head of Fujitsu Platform Business, melalui keterangannya, Senin (18/1/2010).

“Peluncuran lini model baru produk Primergy ini adalah salah satu komitmen Fujitsu dalam mengimplementasikan konsep Triole yang menjadi dasar penelitian dan pengembangan produk Fujitsu. Teriole  merupakan fondasi penerapan IT yang mendukung bisnis para pelanggan kami dengan mengetengahkan solusi IT yang optimal yang memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis mereka,” tambah Kurnia Wahyudi, Country Manager Platform Products Fujitsu Indonesia.

Fujitsu berfokus menyempurnakan kinerja secara terus menerus pada lini Primergy sehingga menghasilkan peningkatan kinerja dan efisiensi energi yang lebih tinggi. Demikian halnya pada Primergy  TX150 S7 dan Primergy  RX100 S6.

Kedua model baru ini diperkuat dengan prosesor-prosesor baru, generasi kedua (Gen2) slot PCIE dan antar muka SAS 2.0. Berbekal arsitektur baru itu, server mono ini sangat mudah dikembangkan hingga 32GB RAM. Model tower maupun rak adalah terobosan dalam peningkatan kinerja, sehingga bisa mendukung pemrosesan database yang membutuhkan sumber daya secara intensif, kemampuan yang selama ini milik sistem-sistem papan atas.
