Blackberry Porsche Design P’9981 resmi dirilis RIM, yang sekaligus mengkonfirmasi kebenaran berita adanya event peluncuran model BB baru di Dubai.

Dari tampilan fisik luar, Porsche Design memiliki body elegan yang terbuat dari stainlees steel (depan) dan kulit (belakang). Dari segi hardware, Blackberry Porsche Design akan ditenagai dengan prosesor 1,2Ghz, Ram 768MB, layar 2,8 inchi TFT, kamera 5MP, NFC dan telah memakai BlackBerry OS7.

Uniknya, BlackBerry P’9981 akan hadir dengan tampilan OS7 yang berbeda dari segi menu, icon, dan font (mirip seperti tema khusus). Selain itu, BB yang sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama Blackberry Knight tersebut akan memiliki nomor PIN khusus dengan awalan 2AA(xxxxx).
